Oxygen is known as one of the most important gases available in nature.  It is now also used in waste management procedures on an industrial scale.  Oxygen is passed into the wastewater to grow bacteria and microorganisms thriving there, which can break down dissolved waste materials and prevent the formation of methane and hydrogen sulfide gases.  After the action of bacteria on waste products, a mass settles at the bottom of the water tank.  This process is called aeration, which is highly effective in wastewater management.HangZhou Sihope provides an oxygen generator that can supply pure oxygen for water and wastewater treatment.

Benefits rendered by oxygen for wastewater management

The oxygen plant provided by HangZhou Sihope supplies upto 96% pure oxygen, which can be used for purifying wastewater.  Wastewater treatment by passing oxygen has many advantages, which are listed below.

• The foul smell completely disappears from wastewater

• Eradicates volatile organic chemicals, like benzene or methanol, from water

• Increases the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water

• Removes dissolved ammonia from water

• Decreases the water pollution as per the NPDES permit limit

• Enhances the longevity of the water management system

• No need to upgrade the entire wastewater plant to meet the permitted limits

• Faster recycling of purified water from the plant

• Reduction in the power cost of running the wastewater plant

HangZhou Sihope customizes the onsite PSA oxygen plant according to the requirements of a client.  Since it supplies oxygen continuously to the wastewater plant, it is convenient to handle the water management process.  Oxygen is simply pumped into the water tank through a pipe, and the length of this pipe depends on the height of the water level in the tank.  This way of supplying oxygen for water and wastewater treatment is much cheaper than buying oxygen cylinders for aeration treatment.  It saves the hassle of using complex devices where several criteria need to be fulfilled for passing oxygen to the water plant.  Pure oxygen in low doses can be used in both primary and secondary treatment of wastewater.
